My name is Owen Nettle and I am a filmmaker primarily based on the Isle of Man who studied Film Production at the University of Staffordshire for three years where I have really been able to stretch myself and my skills to new levels during that time. Trying my hand at various styles, genres and equipment has expectedly transformed the person I was before then into someone who now feels quite at home when on a film set.

Mixed in with my love of filmmaking is my passion for Formula 1 and motorsports which led me to creating an hour-long documentary on people I know who watch it religiously like I do. In addition to this, I have been incredibly fortunate enough to fill roles such as Production Assistant, Camera Assistant and Media Ingest Worker for the motorsport broadcast company Greenlight TV that has also played a major role in equipping me with the relevant skills and experience to succeed in film, TV and media.

 

The next steps I take as a graduate is one that excites me as I see it as a gigantic sea of chances to take what I have to offer to clients, fellow filmmakers and more to the next level, the results of which are and will be presented right in front of you on my very own website.
